In my junior year of college, I was a part of FLUX Magazine, an award-winning student publication, and a class at the University of Oregon. My first feature piece, Hands-on Healing, won first place in feature writing from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC). To read, click here.

Perfect Blend
In addition to Hands-on Healing, I wrote a web-exclusive Perfect Blend. I also had the chance to photograph the story. Together with my co-writer Brianna Murschel, I produced a digital piece highlighting local coffee shops outside Eugene, Oregon. To read, click here.
